First
online forum for Spelling Bee
eSpindle allows students to share "the buzz"
eSpindle Learning, a
parent-initiated non-profit organization, now
provides the first online forum for students
competing in the National Spelling Bee.
Attempting to win the National Spelling Bee is a great ambition.
The chances of winning big in Washington D.C. increase with every round and
the excitement builds -
but it can get lonely at the top.
With every victory, friends are left behind. First classmates,
then the other students in the school,
then other contestants in the district,
the city.
eSpindle, the first
tutoring tool with a specialized module to
coach students on the 30,000 words needed to win, empowers students to connect
with others who prepare for the competition. In this safe, moderated
environment it is easy to share motivation and tips
and to find encouragement and
friendship.
This new forum is not only for children and adolescents. Everyone who is susceptible to
Spelling Bee fever may join - just like
2005 National Senior Spelling
Bee champion, David
Riddle, who recently signed up for the forum. Mr. Riddle also joined the
advisory board of eSpindle Learning after discovering eSpindle on the Web.
