During the event, participants are invited to fill the Word Cup with donations.
The top 12 winners will share the funds in support of the valuable work of the literacy organizations listed below.

To date, more than 25,000 literacy tutors, teachers, and volunteers have used NBSF books to help nearly 320,000 people. The NBSF supports adult literacy, English-as-a-second-language (ESL) projects, adult basic education programs, and family literacy programs.

In2Books fosters reading, writing, and thinking skills across the curriculum.   In2Books pairs learners with mentor pen pals, significantly improving students' literacy skills and love of learning.

We seek to intervene early in the lives of children in the belief that education is a lifelong gift that empowers people to ultimately improve socioeconomic conditions for their families, communities, countries, and future generations. Through the opportunities that only an education can provide, we strive to break the cycle of poverty, one child at a time.
